📕 The autumn issue of the journal Studies on Art and Architecture (Kunstiteaduslikke Uurimusi) 2023 has been published. The starting point for the issue was the seminar Likeness in Difference. Perspectives in Baltic Regional Art History, where Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian art historians explored commonalities and differences in Soviet-era and post-socialist art and architecture. It looked at the connections and influences that have shaped local identities, sought to overcome the East-West divide, experimented with transnational methods and postcolonial approaches, and analysed self-representations in curatorial exhibitions and collaborative projects, mapping the state of the art and future prospects. The editor-in-chief of the journal is Ingrid Ruudi. Anu Allas, one of the organisers of the seminar Likeness in Difference , is the co-editor of the autumn issue.
